We take on bathroom remodels in Calabasas, from primary suite upgrades to hall baths, with careful waterproofing and clean tile work.
Plenty of Calabasas homes have a primary bath with a big corner tub nobody uses, a small shower and a lot of wasted floor space. Hall baths and secondary baths often look like they came from a different decade than the rest of the house. A bathroom remodel in Calabasas is usually about reworking that layout so the room feels calm, bright and easy to use.
Girl Flip Construction is a licensed, women-led general contractor, and we handle bathroom remodeling from demolition and plumbing through waterproofing, tile, vanities and glass. As a bathroom remodel contractor, we explain what goes behind the finished surfaces too, because that is where most long-term problems start.
We start with a free discovery call and an in-home walkthrough, then give you a written scope so you know exactly what is included before the work begins.
Planning more than the bathroom? Our Calabasas home remodeling page covers the whole house, and the kitchen remodeling page covers kitchens. For the service itself, see bathroom remodeling, and for budgeting, the remodel cost guide and permit guide.
Every bathroom is scoped in writing after a walkthrough, so you know what is included before work starts.

Explore →A common request is to remove the oversized tub deck and replace it with a larger walk-in shower, sometimes with a freestanding tub in a spot that actually makes sense. Double vanities, makeup areas, better storage and improved lighting round out most wish lists.
Many Calabasas primary suites are generous in square footage, so there is room to rework the plan. We look at where the plumbing runs and how far fixtures need to move, since that affects both cost and permit scope.
Hall and guest baths get a lighter touch. A new vanity, a tub-shower combination with fresh tile, better ventilation and updated lighting can change the feel of a bathroom without rebuilding the floor plan.
A good shower starts with the slope, the membrane and the substrate, not the tile. We build to a proper waterproofing system, test it where appropriate, and then set tile with careful layout so patterns, niches and grout lines look deliberate.
Large-format tile, stone and glass enclosures are popular here. They look great, but they demand flat surfaces and precise installation, so we plan material delivery and lead times early.
We also pay attention to ventilation, since a quiet, properly sized fan protects the finishes you just paid for.
Relocating a toilet, shower or sink, changing drains or altering electrical typically requires a permit from the City of Calabasas Building and Safety Division. A like-for-like cosmetic refresh may not. If your community has an HOA, we also check whether it needs notice before work starts. We handle that paperwork as part of the job.
Bringing the plan to the permit counter early keeps surprises out of the schedule, and it is one reason we walk the bathroom before quoting anything.
